In 2004 after 18 years of developing and expanding The Australian Bush Hat Company, to a position where its name and product became a by-word for quality and style the world over, the founder of The Australian Bush Hat Co. Robert K. Murrie retired from the company passing on his legacy to the capable hands of our new company director Patrick Healy. After a seamless handover in 2004 Patrick has continued in the same vain seeing no need to change a winning formula. Patrick is bringing the company into the 21st century employing the newest designs with the latest technology, incorporating our own in house design team and brand new export division. With his extensive experience in the UK and Europe Patrick has also increased exports by over 1000%. While not losing site of our core customers the great Australian public, we have increased our coverage in 2005/2006 with over 100 new outlets in Western Australia alone. We are proud to say our hats have found a home in locations as diverse as an outback cattle station in the Northern Territories right through to the elite royal family circle.

We have recently expanded into the international market place with the formation of the Australian Bush Hat Company UK to service the ever-increasing demand in the United Kingdom and Europe for our Australian Bush hats.

Australia has been and will always remain our fundamental and core market place and by year-end 2007 we will have achieved our aim of 1000 new outlets Australia wide
